The pilot
Pilots run two weeks and are free, covering up to three active roles. There is no seat licence and no card. What we ask for instead is honest feedback and permission to watch you use the product. Either of us can end a pilot at any time, for any reason.
Because it is a pilot, features change without notice, searches can fail, and results can be wrong. We may introduce paid plans later; nothing here obliges you to buy one, and we will not start charging an existing pilot without asking first.
Your account
Access is by Google sign-in, and only for addresses we have invited. You must be 18 or older and using Cobb for a business — it is not offered to consumers or to anyone under 18. Keep your Google account secure — anything done under your access is treated as yours. Tell us at support@hirecobb.com if it gets out.
How you may use Cobb
Cobb is for finding and contacting people about genuine roles at your company. You agree not to:
- send bulk unsolicited mail unrelated to a real opening, or anything a reasonable recipient would call spam;
- use candidate data for anything other than recruiting for your own company — no resale, no list building, no feeding it into another product;
- make employment decisions in a way that discriminates on protected characteristics, or ask Cobb to filter on them;
- scrape, resell, or attempt to extract Cobb's underlying data or model outputs in bulk;
- attempt to reach other users' workspaces, or to break the service.
You are the sender of every message that leaves your Gmail account through Cobb, and you are responsible for it — including compliance with the email and employment laws where you and the recipient are.
AI-generated output
Rankings, reasoning, match scores and draft messages are produced by language models. They are suggestions, not verified facts: they can be confidently wrong about a person's employer, seniority or availability. Read what Cobb writes before you send it, and check anything you plan to act on. Cobb does not make hiring decisions and is not a consumer reporting agency; do not use it for background screening or any purpose regulated as such.
Your data
Your searches, shortlists, sequences and company information remain yours. You give us permission to process them to run the service, as described in Privacy. Ask and we will export or delete your workspace.
Availability
Cobb is provided as-is, with no uptime commitment during the pilot. We can suspend or change the service, and we may lose data — keep your own copy of anything that matters. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost hires, lost revenue, or lost data. Since the pilot is free, our total liability to you is capped at what you have paid us, which is nothing.
Changes
We will update the date above when these terms change, and email pilot users about anything material. Continuing to use Cobb after a change means you accept it.
